My world has always been one of imagination. I learned early not everyone else lived alongside me in this fantastical place. Writing is where I found my voice and my strength. Let me tell you a story.
Meet Gately Green
Gately Green is a made-up name. The individual behind it has an existence filled with imaginary friends, worthless tidbits of information, and lots of real-life offspring. She has achieved a mediocre haphazardly completed education; please consider this unfortunate fact when substandard grammar asserts itself in her work.
The living figure housing Gately Green is lumpily formed and constantly trying to shed her country accent. She loves witty humor, talks entirely too much, and relishes a good cinnamon roll. Her personality is charming to some but grating to far more. She spends most of her time spinning imaginative tales full of errors and poor punctuation.
What I am working on…
I compose a fair amount of the ridiculous as well as stories seeking to rip your heart out. Along with blogs and short stories I am completing a satirical novella about the management of Hell. I am also doing re-writes and edits to a manuscript about a mother taken from her family, to a different world, where she struggles to understand her purpose in a new life. A rough draft of another space opera and a work of historical fiction is anxiously awaiting my attention.
